It seems like the light color is too light hence the flickering. If I were to choose I would reduce the contrast.

Oh yes, I’m fully aware of that.
Actually, I’m so prepared for waiting, that I put Wanikani on vacation mode. I don’t think I would ever manage to keep up without the Later Crabigator and Double-Check scripts.

This is strange as I am running macOS Sonoma as well and chrome doesn’t exhibit this behaviour. Which version of chrome are you using? do you have any chrome extensions that might add in scrollbars? What scripts are you running?

I did a “clear cache and hard reload” and now the horizontal scrollbar is no longer there, and so it shows the full width of that content.
I’m wondering whether my browser width may be a troublesome one, though, because the review forecast block is so narrow that the green bars are all showing up with the same width no matter how many reviews each one represents.
There appears to be plenty of margin (padding?) to the left and right of the content to permit that area to be wider.
But maybe I should just readjust the width of my browser until I find a width that ‘works’ for me.
Here it is after the update, with the same browser width as before when I had the horizontal scrollbar appearing - or maybe not, as I see that the screen shot sizes are different:
Looks like I’m at the edge of a breakpoint - a bit wider and I get to see the green bars in proportion, and the menu above is expanded instead of hidden inside the hamburger (but that’s a bit wider than I’d prefer my browser to be), but a bit narrower and the review forecast drops way down to below the level progress block, which is not a convenient place for me. Anyway, I’ll figure something out.

MacOS has different scrollbar visibility behaviour depending on if your pointing devices are mice or trackpads, so also worth checking that?

Hmm ok. I just updated to the latest Chrome earlier today:
Version 126.0.6478.183 (Official Build) (arm64)
Scripts: TamperMonkey and uBlock but I’ve disabled those and there’s no change to the page.
I’ve just switched over to Brave (no scripts), and see the same thing there too:
edit: Following @araigoshi’s comment, I’m on an M1 MacMini desktop - i.e, using a mouse pointer.

Hello! I have never used an icon or whatever on here, but up till now I have at least had a little durtle guy in my corner like shown in this screenshot by @servette here.
The little durtle up in the top right corner yes.
But now mine looks like this
I wanted to check on my wall of shame to possibly post it in the fortune-telling thread but I was confused.
I started clicking everywhere and eventually hovered over the exact spot and it turns out that it’s all just a bright white. Completely unnoticeable until I put my cursor over it and then it has a small ring over it. sorry for how big this one is, I had to do full window capture)
EDIT to add: I just want my durtle back, I don’t have any scripts, I have been using the same computer I have since I started. It is also a work computer that I have to put away every day and cannot change anything about it on my end. Is there anyone else with this problem or is it just me?

Huh, well I guess I’ll just keep using my $(‘head’).append until it stops working I guess. For now it still is.

I had to remove that in my script for it to work. Possibly some other script you’re using is loading jquery for you?

Maybe, or could be some kind of caching thing? I don’t know, I’m in no hurry, it’s just my own script for me.

That’s always been my user icon, same as the one next to this post. I don’t think I did anything to make it that? (It would have been a long time ago though, so who knows)
Edit: Ah, it’s probably whatever this “Gravitar” business is. Maybe the “don’t have one” case got broken somehow.

Your icon has always been a white circle? or the durtle?
Because up until today which I admit if it was earlier than today that’s unfortunate but I had the durtle and I had never touched the avatar stuff for the main dashboard page because no one will see it but now not even I can see it so I am confused…
Unfortunate repeat (serialized? basically replying again before anyone else gets a comment) post, but I would be happy if it’s something like that then… But the question is how to change it as that link gets sniped by my work security/privacy blocker… I will try messing with that on my phone later and post an update

If you are referring to the vertical scrollbar at the right side of the review forecast, it is still there for me (without a functional scrollbar ‘thumb’):
