I was on two flights without WiFi recently.
On the first flight, I could use Smoldering Durtles (on Android) without problems, doing reviews and lessons and syncing to Wanikani once I landed and had WiFi again.
But on the flight back, I could only do 3 or 4 reviews before the app froze and/or threw an error like “Can’t connect to the Wanikani servers”. I wasn’t able to do any reviews or lessons anymore.
Did anyone experience something similar?
I’m not sure if I messed up some settings inbetween those flights. I only enabled the advanced settings and changed the lesson order to show Radicals first. Is that a problem regarding offline usage?
