Thank you, I downloaded v3 as well. 
If your calibration is off by that much, it’s not great for working with art. You lose details and the works will look very different on other monitors. You can find great calibration guides with a tiny bit of googling (unless you have an uncommon model).
But if you prefer it that way that’s fine of course. I have my brightness way lower than most people. I get comments on that a lot. “How do you even see anything?!” 
But I made sure that my settings didn’t muck up the colours too badly.

EDIT: Sweet! And it works perfectly. The blue scroll bar is a bit difficult to see in V2, but I’ll get used to it.
The least amount of white the better…
EDIT 2: Oh… I see, it’s just applying a CSS to the website… not rewriting the site itself (explains why it loads fast)… I was going to try to find and change a few other elements… but my CSS skills are basic to weak, so I guess I’ll leave it that. (I wanted to attempt to make the reply box also grey). Thank you again for this quick fix!
Actually, I went through a calibration set up by NVidia when I first built my computer and again when I changed monitors. So it is optimized.
… Just very extremely.
Don’t forget to change the font! It just doesn’t feel like it used to with another font. With this line added to the body tag, it’s a lot more comfy:
font-family: "Open Sans", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

You wouldn’t happen to know a better Japanese font or the one that WK used to use? Or did you notice a difference in kanji on discourse after changing that too? It’s a little illegible as it is.

EDIT: Hmm… even with a reload, the text didn’t change for me. Then I tried turning the style off and on again. Maybe WK already changed the font - the font in the posts above are different from in my reply box here, and their CSS edits seem to be quickly applied.
@AnimeCanuck try using ctrl + f5 to refresh without using your cache.

I’m not getting the old texture, but yay for the mod overall! I customized v3 to add the darker grey behind the suggested topics at the bottom since my poor eyes can’t handle large content blocks that aren’t visually separated. Thanks for providing the base!
