[Userscript] Wanikani Heatmap

I joined in February and restarted in July, the log starts in August.
It’s weird, we have so much but knowing a part of our history is missing just hurts =P

I realised I need to actually update the script.
Well…

It gets to about there and then goes away. never loads the heatmap at all, none existant :fearful:

Edit:
A few more reloads later and it made it to the end and now it is back
Not sure if you did something or the magic of trying to show an error (when you do it works =P )

At least for me the whole Wanikani website and API is a bit slow today and yesterday and responds with errors to requests from time to time. Pretty sure that’s what was going on there. You basically got lucky once with no errors when fetching any of the review data.

Yeah, probably connected. I keep falling out during reviews D=

It’s probably slow because they are updating old reviews with the SRS system info. For the complete userbase that is many millions of records

If Kumi writes a Heatmap script for how much we shitpost in the forum, I’m in big trouble…

Hi! Should start date hide calendar view for times before indicated date? I put there 2020-01-01 yet HeatMap still displays years until 2016, when I did 5 lessons (and nothing afterwards until this year). Would be very helpful to just hide those past calendars.

I believe it should. You could try refetching the data by going into the script settings and deleting reviews and lessons

I tried deleting the data (reviews and lessons) but it doesn’t seem to fix the problem.

Hmm, ok. I will look into it. For the time being you can click on the years to minimize them

@wojtek I belive I have managed to fix it. Update and refetch your data to see if it worked

I checked version // @version 2.0.20, reloaded the script and WK page, went into settings, clicked Reload buttons in Review and Lesson tab, confirmed and page reloaded. Afterwards I still see complete calendar.

Are you sure that the update was installed? I can’t replicate it anymore

No problem, just was curious if I got the option right.

Btw. collapsing years works just fine for me - thanks a million! :+1:

I’m fairly sure it was installed, though it’s version is not displayed anywhere on the page and ViolentMonkey reports new version.

Heyo there – I think I’m having the same problem that was posted a few days ago (or a variant of it). The heatmap looks right - but clicking on any day results in crazy data (like hundreds of reviews and items even if I’ve only done a few). Is version 2.0.20 the latest one @Kumirei?

Haha yes, I overlooked that. I’ll have a fix up in a few hours

Thank you for getting a fix up for this! I’d been having the same issue. After installing the fix, clearing my local storage, and refreshing the page this is working perfectly again now.

This is now partly fixed; it only works for reviews which have not been updated since they were created. Sadly I was relying on the update date to fetch reviews from a specific date. That is no longer possible now that they are updating every single review record. I should be able to fix this, but it will have to wait until the next major version.
