I hope you will find the solution to your problem because to the best of my knowledge no other script does what Leech Training does.
If you get stuck without a solution your closest alternative is the Self-Study Quiz script. It has a leech filter. If you enable it it will setup a quiz session on your leeches. If you define the Max Quiz Size setting you will be given a small selection of your leeches and if you click the shuffle button it will randomize the selection of leeches. But there will be no tracking of which leeches you have studied so you will lose this functionality.
For a different type of studying there is Item Inspector. This script will display your leeches in a table. You go over the items reciting meaning and reading. To verify your answers you move the mouse over the item. The actual reading and writing will display in a tooltip pop up. If you have business with the mnemonics or something you may click on the item to display the item page. There is a Random Selection setting if you want only a small number selection of leeches. Disclosure: I am the author of Item Inspector.

Here is a couple more things you may try:
- Uninstall and reinstall Firefox.
- Try if the problem arises in another browser, say Chrome.
These options are a bit of a pain because they require to reinstall your scripts but this is all I can think of.
The server occasionally gets itself tied in knots about particular accounts. Having finally finished another personal project of mine, I’m planning on turning my attention back to this one. The main issue the server has is trying to retrieve all your information at once and hitting what’s called a “rate limit” at the WK end, which is a fancy way of saying “you’re asking for too much”.
If you can give me the last section of your API key (the characters after the last -) then what I can do is try to clear your data out and see if that helps.

I already use the Self-Study script but I agree it’s not as useful for leeches as the dedicated script. I also have Dashboard Leech Tables installed, but I’ll check out Item Inspector too.
Appreciate the other suggestions, but I use my computer for design and front-end web dev so I’m not going to uninstall and re-install my entire setup just for one script. That’s just a massive timesuck. 
@rosshendry has proposed to look into your problem. He is the developer of Leech Training so he can do a lot about it. I think you should accept his offer and supply the information he requested.

Ah, thanks for the insight! I feel like I vaguely remember this happening a while back - maybe a previous issue where some row or column limit was reached? But it was fixed in an update. Or maybe I’m just conflating your script with another.

I’m having some issues with the script atm. New user, unable to see anything for it on my dashboard 
I’ve turned off all unrelated scripts and my adblocker, running the latest version of Firefox on my PC. I’m getting these errors/warnings in the JS console:
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the script a few times now to no effect, and have cleared my cache, just in case. Has made no difference 
Any ideas what might be going on here?
That was this one, yes. It was hosted on a free tier on heroku and it breached the 10,000 row limit, but that shouldn’t be a problem now as I upped it to a paid tier.
I’ve just removed your records from the database so try that. Fingers crossed! I’ve also got my Go tutorials out again, so I’ll hopefully be able to learn enough to toughen up the codebase a bit.

You don’t see the “Leeches” link next to the search button? How odd. I’ll add a line to the logs in the case it can’t find something to attach the link to, just in case that gives us some insights.

None of those errors should be causing any issues, and I can see you’re getting a response from the server as the leech_lesson_items count increases.
And you’ve definitely just got “Levels, Radicals, Kanji, Vocabulary” in the top bar? Are you on the main site or the preview one?
Leeches link between “Vocabulary” and the search icon. 
OMG so sorry!! I’m blind. I was expecting something more prominent in the middle of the top bar like in the old UI from the screenshot, or in the scripts section of the side menu.
