The changes are live now.
For what it’s worth, I was very confused this morning that the credentials in my password manager were not working anymore. I was under the impression that my account had been compromised and proceeded with going through a password reset, and only at the end realized that the problem was that it now wants the e-mail instead of the username. How about, if someone puts something into the e-mail field that is clearly not an e-mail (e.g. anything without an @ sign), it showed a warning about the change instead of just saying no?
Hey there, sorry for the confusion.
We added labels shortly after the change above the fields so it should show ‘email’ to address this:
The most secure login is using 3FA, where you have to do cheek swab for DNA testing. It takes several weeks for the log in process to complete.
Depends on which cheeks.
Unfortunately @jprspereira’s cheek swab managed to allow them access for jprsjsalkfdlasjd
Everything for security!
