I know there is no solution except read, read, read but it is nonetheless frustrating that my ability to recognise kanji can be upset so easily by slightly different fonts - I’m talking different printed fonts not handwritten or brush strokes, which completely torpedo my reading comprehension.
I suppose I could get revenge by getting a Japanese person to try to read my handwriting (sometimes when I look back at my own notes I struggle so they would have no chance!)
