This is probably a browser issue rather than a Tampermonkey issue. I’ve never seen Tampermonkey require developer mode. My first guess would be that you have some kind of security plugin that is blocking Tampermonkey from running, or you’ve modified some security settings that triggered a block.
What browser (and security plugins) are you using?
Hmmm, interesting. I run Brave browser, which is based on Chrome, and I haven’t seen that yet… but I’m not on WK very often either, so that could be why. I’ll have to check it out when I get a spare moment.
