Sure, I’ll keep you posted!

embe said... I've just entered level 46 and it's not a fast level, so I think you should  make a change.
Thanks!  Would you be willing to email me as you progress through the final levels, and tell me which ones are/aren't fast?  rfindley@usa.net

If so, be sure to confirm that you don't have any non-Guru'd radicals from prior levels that are holding back the locked kanji.
I finished 46 in five days, isn't that a fast level?

Now that I look at it again it acutally is! I saw 55 items only and thought it’s a normal level… But there’s only 17 vocab items. Really sorry for the confusion. And I have lost 6 hours…

No problem :-).  Thanks for the update!

I'm still especially keen to see what percentage of users experience 48 as a short level, since there was a moved-radical involved.  I don't remember when the radical was moved, but I think anyone that had a significant pause at the right time will still experience it as short, whereas everyone else will be long.

The writing is all messed up for me

edit - fixed it, found a way to reduce the font size on this page.

What did you do to fix it?  I don't have any Apple devices, so I'm sure your feedback could help others.  Thanks!

I’ve used the site for a few weeks and it was just wonderful, however now it gives me an “Error 404: error” when I’m trying to load it. I didn’t change my API key / login/ whatever. I’ve tried force refresh with no result, and I then tried to log out and then log in, but I was unable to login using my API key (same 404).

The funniest part is, now I can’t even try to login, as the drop-down menu doesn’t work (the button writes “[login]” and does nothing on press). Refreshing the page doesn’t help. I tried to reach the site using the custom URL with my API key in it but it produced same 404 error.

The charts are accessible, still.

I’m sure the problem is not WaniKani’s limit for API key usage, as I was refreshing the site much more frequently some time ago, and everything’s been all right.

I really hope the problem can be solved, as your site is just wonderful.

 same here

It’s an error on Wanikani’s side.  The API is currently not responding to certain kinds of requests that are documented in the API (JSONP requests).  I suspect WK upgraded or changed their web servers, and some of the configuration still hasn’t been put back the same way, thus the sudden bugs on WK in the last day or so.

Same problem here! How long do you think it can take before it works again?

Ah, now that explains why some things related to WK have behaved so strangely lately. Btw, have I already told you how awesome you are? Even though you already finished WK a while ago you still visit regularly to help and check whether everything is working smoothly. Thank you!

I emailed Viet in case he hadn't heard about this one yet.

I'm glad you find it useful!  As always, credits to Kyle Coburn for the original site years ago.  When he discontinued it, I wasn't ready to see it die, so I revived it from the Internet Wayback Machine (archive.org), and eventually rewrote everything from scratch to add my own contributions to the original concept.

Although I'm done with Wanikani, there are still a lot of good people and resources in the forums, so I'll still be around somewhere.  And the stats site isn't costing me anything above what I'm already paying for my business server, so it should still be around for the long term.

If it ever does become a nuisance, I've got a friend who can lend me some server space ;p
Or it'd be a great excuse to finally get my own server ^^

rfindley, I appreciate you! I’m here because I too noted the 404 error. The stats site is an addiction, and I love it! Also, a really handy tool for those of us who don’t set alarms for reviews to manage when current kanji radicals/kanji are due for review.

…Speaking of, does anyone know of an app that does serve that function (i.e. alarm when current level kanji/radicals are due)? It’d be a very convenient little luxury on this end.

There are some (unofficial) apps such as kaniwani. Personally, I just keep checking my dashboard like  a manic :P

Use rfindley's ultimate timeline script. It's literally the best thing ever.

Yep, Viet got it working.  Much thanks to the Ninjaneer-in-chief!

Any interest in putting this type of info on your site?
