Did something change recently with the algorithm? I have ~190 apprentice items but it the number of reviews I am getting is lower than it used to be for that many! I am forecast to get approx 145 per day for the next few days. I could have sworn I used to get more but maybe since I am burning things now it gives more room for more apprentice items? Not very long ago I felt overwhelmed when I had over 150 apprentice items but now it feels totally manageable with 190 and I am considering doing even more lessons. Before I do though I want to be sure I am not walking into a nightmare!
Are you becoming accustomed to that amount? Also famous words before your next post on being overwhelmed. Trust me. Keep the 150. Pair it with reading. The temptation to do more is a siren call that needs to be avoided at all costs. It feels great in the charging phase, wow I’m doing so much progress. But the draw down is slow, grinding, and painful.

I don’t believe the algorithm has changed recently. One thing to note is that if most of your Apprentice items are at high Apprentice levels (which will be the case if they re-entered Apprentice after spending some time past Guru), you won’t see them as frequently as items you just unlocked. This could contribute to your perception about workload?
Yes this must be it. I guess if an item goes from guru back down to apprentice IV what you saying is the wait time is longer than the time for it to first go from Apprentice IV to Guru?
No, I think they’re the same: 2 days. The point is that those 2 days are much longer than the review period for all the previous Apprentice levels, so adding an item to Apprentice IV (or III) will add less to your workload over the next couple days than unlocking an item and placing it at Apprentice I.
