So much hype these days
Really wants to make me check it out too.

So what’s the difference between this edition and the other one that I think you are reading? Are there just a different amount of chapter and a different cover for each volume, or are there also changes in the content?
(Sorry I haven’t read the whole thread if it’s already been discussed :see_no_evil_monkey: )

Ooh, yay, fun to see you here!!!

The content is the same it’s just which chapters, paper quality and size (and covers) for the most part. I’m enjoying the digital version since I switched! But if you go for paper then definitely have a look at the drop down in the home post where I collated info from others. I personally liked the nice paper and bigger size of the Kanzenban, because the art pops out nicely. I think some of the most insightful comments on editions are linked or in the first 10 posts, so no need to dig deeper than that!

The shinsouban version is the only one available digitally I’m pretty sure, but yeah like Mitrac said the only real difference ignoring physical binding/paper size etc. is where they split the volumes. Shinsouban does it more by matches/events compared to the original, and it has more variable volume length as a result, but generally each volume is longer since they squished 31 into 20

I read the shinsouban physically and it was great, but in an ideal world physically I would have read the kanzenban edition. That was only for physical though, not any choice for digital

Thanks for the replies both of you!
I only buy digitally so as long as the content is the same I’m happy
Good to know, now I’m ready to dive in at some point! My last book had a lot of baseball in it, which I knew nothing about, would be refreshing to read about basketball, which at least I know how to play yay

Just to give a warning. I found the first volume to be a little rough. The manga needs a little time to come togheter. It is great though after that first rough patch.
