Yes exactly! they are perfect ![]()
I especially like the ones on the left (both top and bottom).
Thank you! I really need to practice writing more. I don’t think I can even write katakana.
I own a lot of handwriting resources, but have never taken it seriously. I do practice writing a lot though. Mostly for Kanken.
Damn ふ… I don’t usually write kana so its not very good but here’s mine scribbled down just now.
Also @Leebo I love your か, now I’ve got か goals.
Can’t reply to everyone, but wow your collective handwriting is nice ! I’ll surely train writing on my own after that
I really don’t like ふ :DD Some people say you should write the third stroke to the right, some - to the left, and I had so much trouble with it already:DD
Handwriting came out a bit shaky because I was nervous a little
I write only for textbook exercises in my notebooks and that’s it:D
Write it to the left AND the right then lol
I meant the difference between these:D

Where do you see resources that show the right stroke written 3rd?
EDIT: Oh, you meant the downward angle of it? It’s always down and left-ish (though often only in only the most subtle of ways), but in the second image you linked, it has a “follow-through” part that points in the direction of the last stroke.
I used to draw it with four separate strokes but my teacher advised me to join the top stroke with the main middle stroke (closer to how computer fonts look); I’ve always wondered whether that’s actually the way to do it or whether my ふ was just so bad she needed some kind of intervention ![]()
Yeah, sorry, I should’ve said that clearer ![]()
I would say always use “brush stroke” styles over solid stroke fonts as a guide when you can. The solid stroke ones remove a lot of the stuff that is expected in handwriting.
Or, the kind of font you see in textbooks, that have line thickness.
very readable, nice.
i cannot write か good enough.
The worst feeling in the world is to miswrite ら, try to correct it, and it turns into ち.
It. Happened. So. Many. Times. :DD Or mixing up ち and さ in my brain and start writing it in the different direction
i think he means the order
So i just did this so i could show you guys and thought i should try writing Katakana as well while i am at it, turns out i forgot 10 characters in Katakana.
I also forgot the order of the Alphabet, as you can see i forgot about S. Guess thats what happens if you dont use either alphabet for half a year.
