Short curiosity since it’s winter time, which where I live = ice hockey on tv and bandy being played on rinks around the country if the ice will hold.
So, what about Japan? Are these sports played in Japan and to what extent? Are there high school teams of ice hockey players or national and/or international leagues televised? 
Edit: some explanation for bandy:
It’s usually played outdoors here. 
And the audience bring all sorts of hot drinks and foods while watching all bundled up.
Though, when reading that wiki about the venues for playing bandy: “In Sweden there are more indoor arenas than in all other countries combined.” 
Still, it’s a sports that’s very much associated with being played on temporary ice rinks in the winter. ^^
