Today I finished all available bonding events. That’s all for chapter 2 part 2. It’s time to once again talk to people, search for quests and collecting your class mates.
I was busy with cleaning up today,. There was not that much time for reading.

just some pixiv and some more of the binding. it’s quite a slow book, all things considered, but i’ve not got bored reading it yet. very descriptive writing style. i’m a little over halfway through.

Did I say that right? I looked ahead on WK to find the vocab for chapter, not sure if I’m using it right.
Some more reading. Love how the Book develops so far and I feel like I understand most of it, as long as I take my time with it!

A kind of related craft project…
I used to crochet, but haven’t had time for it for years so I’ve been looking for a craft project to do this year. I was thinking of making something like a temperature scarf, but then I saw people making “reading snakes” where you assign colours to different genres of book, and crochet a little section of a toy snake in the right colour each time you finish a book.
I thought maybe it would be fun to do that alongside this challenge, but using the colours of the natively levels for each volume I finish.
So here is the start of my new friend, who I have named 一本 since it can mean either “one long thing” or “one book” 
Today was another chapter of 本好きの下剋上, this time mostly focused on dress altering.

Just a few pages yesterday. Got to read quite a bit after work today.
This book is weird. I was almost expecting love comedy a few pages in, but now it’s more of a mystery/psychological genre. Currently 3/5 stars. I’m curious how it develops. The text itself is fairly standard, nothing crazy. Magic setting, so there are some made-up terms.

After watching the new season of 薬や独り言 I’m considering adding the novel to my goals for the year, but the Natively level rating scares the shit out of me. When I read the manga it was obscenely difficult, though that was months ago… and honestly maybe it’s easier with a text parser.

Bookwalker’s counting must be off or something because I’m not convinced I read 9 pages today. Was trying to read at work but apparently everyone in the city decided they needed to come to the library.
Read Major Volume 6 yesterday and today, 1 chapter each day. I had planned on moving onto the next コナン case in Volume 19, but ended up not getting to my reading until after 11pm both days, and was feeling like I was too sleepy for the more complicated and wordy manga… It’s extremely unusual for me to be that sleepy, though - I’m usually a night owl, and I’m often still not sleepy even at 2 or 3am, so I’m not sure what’s going on there… Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to get started earlier, though, and I’ll be able to move forward on コナン.
I read pages 66-69 from Doraemon for the book club. I also read two level one stories from Tadoku.org. Tomorrow I’m switching to level two.

Finished up Volume 10 of Bluelock on Friday, bringing total volumes finished so far for the challenge to 3. Very much still on track for my goal of reading 36 in total this year 
Another story of Doraemon done. The super short episodic nature of this makes it so good for just picking up for 20 mins or so. Really enjoying chipping away at it each week.
And also yesterday started my two new personal books, Bluelock Vol 11 (gotta get through the U-20 arc and catch up to the anime 
), and Phantom Busters Vol 2. This is definitely above my level but the story is so fun it’s worth that little bit of discomfort. There’s only four volumes out in total so far, so looking forward to doing a full reread of them at some point when I can get through them more smoothly.

Had a bit of extra time this afternoon so set myself the challenge of reading one volume of よつばと in one go & managed it!

I thought that I still had around 20-30% of chapter 1 left but as it turns out I misremembered and actually finished chapter 1 today after wrapping up yesterday’s scene – how convenient! 
Started chapter 2 today and read a small part of the 1st scene so far.

Not so much reading done today compared to yesterday - still quite a bit though! I bought the next few volumes of ホリミヤ while I was out, as it’s my favourite manga to get through at the moment. Most of today I was out and about and busy, so I just got a little done in the morning and in the evening. Am still very very happy with the progress this week! Hopefully I’ll be finishing both the first 2 novels next week if I keep something like this pace up again. Onwards and upwards once again!
