I’m still here, still plodding along at my own pace. I’m not reading every day, but I am reading most days. By the end of June I hope to have finished ふらいんぐうぃっち1. A couple of weeks ago I started よつばと! 3 and before I knew it, I had finished the first chapter! And I didn’t even mean to commit to actually reading it right now! We’ll see how it goes. I’ve also started to read ゆびさきと恋々 1 with the ABBC. So exciting!
Other than a little of manga, I’m reading NHK Easy articles and working through the easier side of Satori Reader.

Missed 2 days of posting, I don’t quite remember why I missed posting on Saturday. Was all a bit exhausted at the end of last week (still am, but I’m recovering now).
I read 20 mins or so of さよらな. I do actually need to finish it in the next 2 days now, because of library deadline. So when I get home I’ll jump into that and try get 50-ish pages from it each of the next 2 days. It’s very quick, very low text density, very low difficulty, so shouldn’t take more than an hour-ish for 50 pages each day.
時々ボソッとロシア語 is basically carrying on exactly where the last volume left off. It’s feeling quite easy now for the most part, given all the LN-ish vocab is something I’m now used to. It’s not that long a book, and I can read it pretty consistent speed. However these first 80 pages I was often on the train or in bed, dozing off due to pure exhaustion and lack of sleep. So it took a while and quite a lot of small sessions.
I also have the next volume of a manga which isn’t on here because I haven’t started reading, which I need to finish before Thursday. I’ll start that today and try to do 1/3rd of it the next couple of days.
Then I’ll just carry on 時々ボソッとロシア語 as my other reading. That sounds reasonable.
From Thursday I’ll get back to other stuff. Specifically, I will try get back to 乳と卵 a bit, and I have almost 2 weeks of 香君1 to catch up with. No more starting new novels soon, as much as I’d like to. Too many things outstanding, so I need to finish at least 2 or 3 before starting any novel. Manga is ok though.

I love having a local library that doesn’t fine for late returns. But it doesn’t have a massive Japanese section either.

As predicted, fairly minimal reading over the last 4 days. I need to maintain momentum with the dictionary but otherwise going ok for all the active clubs. Want to finish the Spy Family light novel as the club needed ages ago.

Here I am a week after the challenge has ended… and I just finished ドラゴンボール vol 2 after binge-reading the last 4 chapters

Didn’t get to spend much time reading today since I somehow got sucked into watching a Let’s Play of 逆転裁判 and lost 4 hours. I couldn’t really understand everything, but it was still super entertaining in a certain way. Also instead of summer it’s still pretty cold and cloudy where I live at right now and the energy to do anything is just not there today.
Obvious word of the day, and others:
異議あり - いぎあり - objection!
静粛 - せいしゅく - silent
横になる - to lie down
Also have to mention how 横になる is just absolute mood after a long day. Feels way more relatable than the english version.
