Another 2 pages of the Orange light novel today - only 4 pages left in this chapter and 2 have pictures on so aren’t too text dense so hopefully I can finish the chapter tomorrow :slight_smile:

If anyone is looking for something, I found a website that offers a bunch of free previews of Japanese literature (日本の本　Japanese Books for Everyone).

I personally go to the kid’s or baby’s section, and if you’re looking for something simple to read like me, I would definitely recommend that section.

Today I started reading the second part of Haruki Murakami’s 1Q84. (It’s gonna take me forever to finish all six books but I don’t mind.)
In my opinion, it’s not as good as Kafka on the Shore (海辺のカフカ) or The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (ねじまき鳥クロニクル) but it’s still very much classic Murakami so if you’re a fan I recommend it.
Because the novel is so long I decided to cheat by getting the audiobooks, too. It’s reading with crutches but it really helps with the pace and comprehension. I HAVE NO SHAME! :stuck_out_tongue:
