was, as usual, mostly pixiv over the weekend (ended up doing more listening practice with yakuza 6 than reading, oops).

but today read pg 203-228 of ガリレオ which was kind of a lot, ngl, but i did it! two dead people this time around so maybe a revenge plot?

today’s nhk article was this one (i really need to get back to longer ones), and special topics 1 and 2 in aDoAJG aka up to pg 34 (advanced dictionary here we goooo)

  • あげつらう = to criticize; to find fault. Feels like あげる but 辛(つら)い.
  • 膂力(りょりょく) = physical strength. Like 腕力(わんりょく).
  • 感冒(かんぼう) = common cold. Like 風邪(かぜ). This is also how to called common cold in Chinese.
    • 流行性(りゅうこうせい)感冒(かんぼう) or 流感(りゅうかん) is influenza.
  • 疾病(しっぺい) = illness; disease. An odd reading of 病.
  • 折込(おりこみ)～ = inserted (paper). Can be written 折(お)り込(こ)み～.

Yesterday’s update which I forgot to post was just reading the final chapter of the IMC. There was a big magic explanation at the beginning, which is the main reason this took longer than other chapters, I think. As for today, I’ll probably play some 13 sentinels in bed, so update tomorrow.

Took its time, but got through another skimming through Honzuki, today book 15. It’s funny how back in the day (in earlier challenges) I used to read Honzuki at about the same pace as Saikawa & Moe series or Kusuriya. Now this pace right now is something else. (To be fair, I have all the time in the world right now)

Hopefully, I’ll get through book 16 tomorrow and then I can properly start book 17, doing word count and proper reading and all.

read pg 228-263 of ガリレオ which was a lot and took a while but i finished the case! i got really into it and didn’t want to put it down :sweat_smile: no way i’m finishing the whole book by the end of the challenge but i think i’ll get a lot closer than i was expecting!

today’s nhk article was this one (promising news for lgbtq+ folks), and special topics 3 (politeness and formality) and 4 (rhetorical questions) in aDoAJG

This is my 3rd finished story on Satori Reader :tada:
(Let’s say it wasn’t my favorite, it was very slow and uneventful. The point of view of the heroine was interesting, though)
