教養366 Day 43 - 万有引力の法則
Again, only read a tiny bit today.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the 自転 part of 自転車 on its own before, but it means rotating on an axis and is usually used in astronomy

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Horror is nice to see in a weekly magazine but I don’t think this is for me sadly.

I found it could be quite a difficult read at times, certainly not something I could race through. At times I tried, but would have to go back to check my understanding. Still one of my favourite manga.

ホリミヤ vol. 1, 20 pages.
Finally, after months of break, I’ve picked up ホリミヤ again. And after more experience with manga reading and grammar, it’s definitely easier 
What does not change, however, is the bad quality of the text on the digital version

Also volume 1 was an easy read but I got quite surprised by how much more dense volume 2 got, and looks like it’s a trend for a while!
I really enjoy it. Both because of the plot, very nice to be reading something so unique (at least for me? have never seen something similar before), the relationship between master and servant, the shadow people, plus I like the clothing styles. Then the mood completely shifts when the protagonist meets others like her and a lot of new questions arise. Then the maze in Volume 3 is a bit funny, gave me vibes of like Hunter X Hunter with the challenges and riddles. And actually made me think a bit about Harry Potter and the goblet of fire too haha.
Anyway super excited to continue and find out more!
Today I read two pages of a kid’s book about insects. I actually recognize quite a few from Animal Crossing.

Another day of reading Island, 5000 characters to be exact. This VN is loooong! Still enjoying it though. Still not at the end of the prologue… I’m glad we have a few months still to finish it! Maybe my reading speed will increase a bit by then too.
