Today I started my next novel with the volume 3 of the 本好きの下剋上 junior novel edition. The copies I got from Rakuten before they shadowbanned me are done, so I’m back to reading on Bookwalker rather than ttsu, which makes yomitan much more of a pain. But despite that, I still kept the pace up, so I count that as an achievement 
Chapter 1 even features the “how to make paper” section, which was a challenge, but felt much easier than when I encountered the equivalent section in the manga about a year ago.

Reading today felt super slow. But it’s going forward. There are so many books in general I want to read, I feel like I can’t read fast enough. The Honzuki light novel series has 33 books and I’m currently on 26. There’s no taking breaks from this series when this is the last arc and there are only 7 books left.
Was also checking out the preview of a couple of manga because I was curious about the difficulty (Bocchi the Rock, YuruCamp, Urara Meirochou, Blend S, Fullmetal Alchemist, 紡ぐ乙女と大正の月). Maybe because I’ve watched the Bocchi anime already, but it was surprisingly easy. My expectation of 4-koma manga being a slog to read was not as bad as I thought it would be. 成長したね c:

Day 6: Today’s been crazy busy, even more than I’ve expected, so I just read a few pages until reaching the start of the next chapter in Shadows House, and I think that’s it for today. My brain needs rest~

Dunno, it just pretends my password is constantly wrong and I need to reset it (despite it being saved in my password manager, so definitely not wrong, and it does this even after a reset) and google says that’s their anti-fraud shadowban.
As for guesses:
- Something with the address I picked? I just hit google maps for Osaka and picked some random address.
- Something with my debit card from Revolut I used
- Something with my email domain (I use a personal email domain, not one from any major provider)
- I signed up for a Kobo EN account a week prior and realised I’d messed up, so then signed up for a Rakuten JP account and used that to create a Kobo JP account.
But since I never got an explanation, I don’t really know which did it.

I think you’re right about the イガイガ referring to the 裂け目 since (I guess to them) it appears to be 黒いイガイガ or “black thorns” or something like that! Good job intuiting that!

October 4th
I did the grammar and reading part of a N1 mock test and played some more Abyss of the Sacrifice because you can choose yourself which chapter to play next from the available ones, the story I lacking some structure right now. But still I slowly learn things about the characters that’s good enough for me also I kind of like solving weird puzzles.

I have finished the first chapter of ハイキュー！！ And started into the second, around page 64.
My approach this far has been to embrace ambiguity, I’m only looking up words when I don’t get the vibe or if I want to confirm my assumptions.
That said it’s an unusual experience between words and grammar I have a good grasp on and the unfamiliar stuff. Some parts are perfectly understandable, other parts are just patches of unintelligible lines

- Well into day 2 of trials for case three of 逆転裁判. Dark place in the trial with not much hint of hope, but 頑張れなるほどくん … it’s really fun going back all the way to AA1, I have to say. Apart from the vocab overload it’s a surprisingly easy game to read, too, at least three cases in. Just gotta work on stamina.
- Another chapter of 甘々と稲妻. Another series getting a lot easier as time goes on.

I don’t think it’s 2 or 4 because I’ve done the same (in fact, I opened three accounts on the same day lol).
I also don’t think it’s 1, because my address on one of them is literally “test street, testcity 000000000” something like that 
.
Sometimes these things happen and you get unlucky, though 
sorry it happened to you. There’s also a story I’ve heard recently about someone getting banned from kindle because of pirating, but it wasn’t the case (it was an older lady who barely knows what that even means ). So yeah… sometimes the algorithms they run work in mysterious ways.

Reviving my read ahead method. Read chapters 2 and 3 earlier in the day with no lookups, then went back and reread chapter 2 with lookups. Looks like in this book the longest chapters are 12 pages at most, so might be able to stick to a chapter or two a day.

Sunday update: started and finished 夜の名前を呼んで4, read more from 鋼の錬金術師2 and 逝く夏と還る秋, started 夜カフェ, 夜の名前を呼んで5, and 日本の歴史, which is turning out to be a very text dense manga.

Got like no sleep, but I still made today productive! Played a few hours of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for today’s reading and wow what a fun game. Finally was able to see what the 「イガイガ」@popopo was talking about was and their assumption seems pretty right about it referring to the 裂け目！Glad to have that finally figured out lol. That, with my usual routine, was pretty much all I have done today for study.

( Some extras: Despite getting no sleep, I was able to wake up, run a 5K, cook and shower, then do some reading and hit the gym for an optimal back day workout. Very happy with all of this ^___^ …My busy school week awaits me now…)

Work has eased up a bit but still have loads to do. Some days going better than others for reading!
Last week I kept up with most of my current clubs, but after being ahead with 変な家 for a long time I managed to slightly fall behind and hadn’t quite finished last week’s reading.
There’s a few manga I’m tempted to read ahead on, but I’m trying to stop myself doing that until everything else is up to date. I suspect that will keep me in check as I’m never truly up to date! Only thing I’ll permit myself is to finish シャドウハウス early, since there’s going to be another break while waiting for the next volume regardless.
Plan for the week is to just keep up, but I’d like to finish my remaining 2 books which have actually finished (the intermediate dictionary and 魔女の宅急便).

i’m not doing great in actually solving the puzzles in the book (poor memory coupled with not going back over the material) but they are helpful. except the first two, those were so simple i thought there was some kind of trick. 3月のライオン vol 1 done! really good. cosy, even when it’s a darker moment.
