:fallen_leaf: 10ๆœˆ 23ๆ—ฅ๏ฝž11ๆœˆ 12ๆ—ฅ Summary :fallen_leaf: {{ My Home Post }}

This is a three-week (!!) catch-up post: as I mentioned in my study log, the seasonal affective disorder has been hitting me hard. Iโ€™ve been keeping up with reading every day (except for one hiccup :pensive:) but I stopped keeping track of the day-to-day and fell behind in logging my language progress in general. This update post is the last thing on my catch-up list, though, so weโ€™re back on track!

Mostly, Iโ€™ve abandoned everything in favor of a new book I found while browsing at the bookstore: ใจใซใ‹ใใ‹ใ‚ใ„ใ„ใ„ใใ‚‚ใฎๅ›ณ้‘‘ใ€and ocassionally a passage or two from 365ใ‚ฏใ‚คใ‚บใ€‚

So far, in ใ‹ใ‚ใ„ใ„ใใ‚‚ใฎๅ›ณ้‘‘ใ€Iโ€™ve learned that prairie dogs fatten up in the winter, Japanese sparrows change color to suit the seasons, Hokkaido long-tailed tits weigh as much as a single cherry, and wombats have square poops. Per the field guide: โ€œAlthough their buttholes are circular, the poop is compressed in their stomach into dice-like shapes.โ€ (Paraphrased from memory.)

Thatโ€™s pretty much it from me! ใ‹ใ‚ใ„ใ„ใ„ใใ‚‚ใฎๅ›ณ้‘‘ has been a refreshing change of pace and a nice balance of being engaging and ego-boosting while still providing a slight challenge.

Unfortunately, I did miss a day on November the 11th. It just slipped through the cracks. But I havenโ€™t done any โ€œbare minimumโ€ reading in a while, so overall Iโ€™m proud of what Iโ€™m accomplishing in this challenge.
