I didn’t even realize it was split…

wtf, that’s fast. So did you have prior knowledge up to 60? Are you reordering? Are you skipping ![]()
You know, one day i’ll hit 60, celebrate for a while. Then when all study slows down a bit, I’ll reset to 1 and race to 60 so fast. All the newbies be like. WOAH. ![]()
And I’ll be like
yeah.
Welcome to hell. Current population: You.
yeah
I was level 60 and reset because The Crabigator went out of control and I wasn’t retaining anything due to leeches I was bored ![]()
Keeping this pace without reordering, while possible, would be incredibly more painful than it already is
Not sure what that means. But I’m doing 0/0 every level. I’d be lying if I told you I’ve never overridden an important review that went wrong (but since my current approach is heavily schedule-based, this is sometimes a necessary evil).
But really, @MeowMashiro is also doing great. They might only joined the race quite recently, but I saw their heatmap and I want to hang it on my wall. Incredible consistency

TL;DR version

Great work!!
Ah, that makes it easier to accept that I’m not as fast.
Though with 80+ days per level, anyone can beat me. LOL.
And yeah, I wish my 2019 heatmap was as consistent as that.
I get to level up tomorrow. If I do these last 3 kanji right, or more of course.
Then I unlock some vocabulary. I have a few left too. I think I can start level 20 stuff before the weekend hits though. Shouldn’t be a long level this time.
Very nicely done for me so far. That makes level 19 in 3 weeks.
Mick Gordon already is a legend, I can’t wait to see what he will bring to the table with the Doom Eternal soundtrack next month.
LEVEL UP!
45 vocabulary left, so that’s 3 days before I can start the radicals. Which means theoretically, I can get level 20 done in 10 days, which means I’ll be right on track for N2 in December.
Level 19 took me: 18 days exact. Not shabby. If I take out level 18, my average is 13 days and 12 hours. If I include it, it’s 17 days, 6 hours. I’m choosing to keep it out of my average. It really sticks out.
I did edit number 999 on the wiki, who’s number 1000?
Thanks @FennelFox for the encouragement. Reviews crept up to 3150 but I just smashed them down to 3000 again. These things easily get out of control so I’m going to work on getting back to zero reviews BEFORE I do the next level. Seems the only way to get This under control. I find I’m forgetting the L30-39 Kanji which suggests I tried to go too fast and didn’t memorise them properly…
Me! Moved myself to the bottom of the table, and some other people up the table. @Zorg42, gomen, I meant @zorg, but they don’t seem to exist
@Mombie @anon41681186 . You guys were at the bottom for some reason.

What a journey it’s been.
Alright, back to business. These Kanji don’t learn themselves, people.
@Saida Why did you reset?
Woah, @Saida I just noticed it’s all the way back to 1. That’s so extreme.
I bet you could still get to 60 before I do though.
I wasn’t progressing, so I thought I might as well regress ![]()
Do we need a “Race to reset” thread to see who resets first?
![]()
Dumb question (not up to reading through the whole thread): do I change my level when I actually start a new level or when I have learned all of the radicals/kanji/vocab for the current level?
For instance, I am still working on level 14 by 15 just opened up today. Does that make sense?
