Some days are like that.

結 and ēµ” always get me tripped up. It doesn’t help that their meanings feel close in my mind as well

I’m still here and cleared all of my lessons over my 冬休み.

I think I’ll take it a bit slower now and do all the lessons before moving to the next level, no reordering anymore. A big lesson stack is really intimidating to me.

My streak is still going strong, almost a hundred days in a row since I’ve started

Also watched my first new anime in Japanese with Japanese subs, ćØć‚‰ćƒ‰ćƒ©!
I didn’t understand every dialogue, but I could roughly follow the story. I really liked it.
That was a good confidence boost, because 5 months ago I couldn’t read a single Japanese character. I started learning Hiragana on 14th of August and started Genki 1st of September.

I’ll sign up for JLPT N5 at the end of the month/beginning next month and if everything goes well, N4 will follow in winter.

Let’s see how far I can get this year

I know I’m a bit late to the party, but here is my heatmap. I’m definitely not as consistent with my level ups than some of you guys and my review accuracy isn’t that great either, but I am making progress. That one day of missed reviews in the beginning of October is really bugging me though, but around that time I was really on the brink of a review death spiral, so I guess it could have gone worse.

After hundred consecutive days of study I’ve reached level 12.
And going from 11 to 12 took me 14 days 12 hours.
This is my slowest level so far, for the reasons stated in my previous post, but I’ve catched up on so much vocabulary. I think I’ve done more than 400 lessons on that level and now I’m at exactly 1000 Guru+ 単čŖž \o/

EDIT: Almost forgot the best part, moving myself up in the leaderboard

You also have exactly a 100-day streak that you forgot to point out

Oh hey, there’s a thread for this. Cool, because I’m done messing around. I’ve also had a medication change and I’m in a much better place and SO READY to finish WK and take down N2!

Just reached level 12, one of my fastest yet, 7 days and 2 hours. Might have managed under 7 days if I hadn’t slept though my alarm this morning!

That’s the spirit! Welcome!

I reduced my goal to 40. I’m going to be working overtime at work for several months, so I’ll probably only level up a couple times before that’s done. Just keeping the reviews down as much as I can and concentrating on relevant set phrases for a trip I’m taking during the crunch. Good luck guys! See you in May probably.

I finally learned about the heat maps.

I’m pretty proud of my streak!

I’m going to increase my daily lesson plan to 10 a day to be able to get to level 30 in July.
So far 5 has been going very well. 10 should be okay too.
I just saw I’ve been on level 18 for 77 days today. Woops, that’s a bit long.

Since this has turned into a ā€œlet’s post our heatmapā€, I guess I’ll post mine too. 100 days streak for me as well!

Particularly proud of my 101% days studied! No bug has ever been so nice to me before :heart_eyes_cat:

Happy New Year!

I’ve finally defeated my 2000 reviews and made it to Level 19. Could someone please update the table for me? (Speed: -) I’ll submit a new speed when I hit Level 20.

Thanks.

Hi!
I started using WaniKani a while ago and had a two-months ā€˜break’ to prepare for university admission.
Now I’m back at full speed and want to reach lv 60 as soon as possible. My average speed is 13 days (because someone didn’t want to activate vacation mode) but it may change over time (speed between levels 1 to 9 was at most 9.5 days for example)
@FennelFox Can I become a member to join the race? Thanks in advance!.
