Personally, high reviews have never been a problem for me. I probably won’t feel guilty if I have to drop my lesson counts once school starts, as long as I can hit 0 reviews daily. Optimistically, I want to hit 60 by October, so easing up won’t throw a wrench in that

We Germans have this word… “fremdschämen” - to feel embarrassed (schämen) for someone else (fremd). And seeing your screenshot I feel “fremdgestresst” now… (I feel stressed for you)

Du brauchst dich doch nicht wegen mir fremdzustressen, ich hab fast jeden Tag so 300+ reviews. Da gewöhnt man sich dran. Mein Gehirn ist halt ein schweizer Käse.
No need to stress yourself on my behalf, I have 300+ reviews on most days. You get used to it. It’s all due to my bad review accuracy.

Leveled to level 26 in 7 days, I wanted to level up this time in under 7 days but I overslept.
I still don’t really know how useful it is to learn all those kanji. There are still lots of words and phrases I don’t know, so reading manga and games is still really hard. I talked to my teacher and she said I should just continue and that it will pay off in the long run.
This month is really brutal there is so much I have to do and I will be really happy once this month is over.

I can definitely confirm that it pays off. It’s a huge help when you know all the kanji in a sentence without having to look anything up. My personal advise would be that you shouldn’t fret too much about level up times. If you’re struggling with your review count, just hold up on lessons for a few days, it can make a world of difference in your daily review numbers and it doesn’t matter in the end if you’re reaching 60 a few weeks later or not.

Even if I can read all the kanji in a sentence I still have a hard time when I want to read something. Not all visual novels and manga I want to read have that much kanji some of them are full of words written in kana. Unfortunately I still need to learn much more vocabulary and phrases. It seems right now I sometimes struggle to understand even some easy sentences.

Leveled up to 27. Wanikani is not as easy as it was in the beginning anymore. This time I managed to finish the level under seven days in 6 days and 23 hours.
Soon August will end I will once again have more time to learn japanese. I will need to do my next japanese test soon so I will once again have to train writing japanese by hand.

I finally updated my status in the chart. After I reset from level 25 to 17 I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be my goal for this year… but now I know! Until December I want to reach level 25 again because I’m sure I can make it. Bonus points for me if I reach level 26.

Those reviews giving me a bit of stress.
I managed to get my Guru down significantly. (like 140 atm)
And I’ve been doing 10 lessons a day again. 2 review sessions a day.
Which means that by Monday, I should finally be back in level 23! Which is where I reset back to 22.
In hindsight, it would have been better to have reset back to 21 instead, because 21 was also uuuugh.
But I got there in the end. Have a few lessons left, I don’t think I’ll reach 0 lessons left, but that’s okay, I can just keep marching onward.
Also, the goal for December 2020… Yeah 60 is impossible. So I’m going to change that to level 30. Which is doable in the pace I’m at.
Don’t give up people!
I might only get halfway to my original goal, but that’s life! Aim high, and even if you don’t make it, you’ll still be a lot further than you are today.
