We’re going to the dentist on Friday. Why don’t you review/learn these dentisty words with me?
むしば、cavity, rotton tooth, etc.
はいしゃ、dentist (place and person)
嗽 (kanji might not be used.)
おくば、back teeth, molars
These words might be on Wanikani. I don’t know. I’m just level 21.
Mouths are gross. Thanks for studying with me.
I would also learn 歯周病 ししゅうびょう periodontal disease
Well I hope I don’t hear that word on Friday.
This is the only word WK teaches (+ dentist - 歯医者 - はいしゃ), so thanks for teaching us the rest!
Good luck on Friday at the dentist office! ^>^
ゆすぐ or すすぐ : rinse (the mouth)
I got in trouble the first time I went to dentist for this one. The dentist was like “Please ゆすぐ now” and I had no idea what to do.
Edit : I also remember being confused by another verb, basically to ask me to close the mouth and bite (to create a mold If I remember correctly), maybe 噛む ?
