This might be way too specific and silly of a problem, but here goes…
I have accidentally added some “user synonyms” (typos, I hit the wrong button) while doing reviews using the Tsurukame app. This has happened in the middle of review sessions where I thought to myself “It’s ok, I’ll remember where I added that and go remove it when I’m done.”… I think you know where this is going.
I believe I still have some random ones added but I have forgotten which ones. Is there a way to show all items that have user synonyms added or something?? Going through each item would take way too long and I can’t think of any way to narrow it down
I don’t know about Tsurukame but if you use the web site the Item Inspector script can do this. The procedure:
- Install Item Inspector if not already done.
- In the table Selector dropdown select the All Wanikani Items table. Then a table with all WK items appears.
- In the temporary filter dropdown select the Advanced Search filter. Then a dialog appears.
- In the Item Type multi box select everything.
- In the Used In multi box deselect everything and then select the User Synonym option.
- In the Search Terms input box type in a * (asterisk character)
- Click save
This will select and display a table with all items that have a user synonym.

Thank you!! This is exactly what I was hoping for.
Edit: All sorted! And for your entertainment, two typos that had accidentally become synonyms…
- aoig (sign)
- assokiatiok (association)
Thank you so much for the guide @prouleau, it was driving me crazy knowing they were there somewhere but not knowing how to find them!
