I know there’s a difference in style when writing poems and lyrics compared to writing normally. I write songs in English, and part of my learning goals are to be able to write my music in Japanese as well. I’ve had very little luck finding resources myself, and short of just taking phrases from Japanese songs I listen to, I’ve had no luck. Is it kind of just a “go with the flow” sort of thing or is there some sort of second set of grammar rules that apply to poetic and lyrical writing?
