To add some salt to what @pembo said. You’ll have some kanjis known for easy text (but not all) and probably a little vocab.
When you feel like it you’ll have to bridge the gap (vocab and at least basic grammar) to practice reading.
This gap will NEVER be covered by WK alone so it’s an initiative you’ll have to start on your own.
If you invest the time to bridge that gap yes there is no reason not to be able to decipher text.
