Chapter 27
I. Hate. This. Guy.
I was also not super happy with Nana in this chapter. I do think that Nobu did a good job standing up for himself, especially given some of the ways that Nana acted once he started dating Hachi.
It’s all very sad, I have no idea where the story goes from here, and I’m probably just going to immediately continue on to the next chapter.

Definitely understand that! This particular plot line really makes you want to know what is going to happen next. Plus usually some time goes during a chapter but now we are still on the same evening, so makes you want to read faster I think

I .. don’t hate how he acted in this chapter in isolation. But including all of the rest of his actions, plus his story about how his older sister got pregnant at 20 and he’s still out here not using protection with Hachi (and lord knows who else.. gross) and like “well I know how hard it can be to be pregnant”
Oh yeah?! Then don’t get a girl pregnant 
Anyway. I will admit I’m biased though.

Thought about something else about chapter 28, so you better all read it
Like I said in the previous comment I think this chapter made a good job at explaining why she throws away the possibility of a healthy relationship with a nice guy that loves her back and is on the same vibe: she wants to be a mother to her child, she realized that at the ultrasound.
But then one thing bothers me, is what she said chapter 26:
Sure, she was probably not in the best state of mind there, and not expecting Takumi to show up, but then again she could have shouted something different more in the lines of “I don’t need you, it’s only my problem” or “I don’t care what you think, I’m this child’s mom and I’m having it”

I actually think he quite likes Hachi. But like, Kyosuke was saying, as a toy that he wanted to get back from Nobu, and not as a partner and someone he wants to start a family with:
While I don’t really agree with Junko that now is the time and the place for her 説教, I do agree with her that I don’t think Hachi should go through with the pregnancy. I don’t see her, Takumi, or the baby having a particularly happy life going forward from here.
Anyway. *big sigh*.
I do remember one more conversation after this (I imagine is going to have to come in the next volume), and then that’s it.
ngl, this was like the best part of the volume for me (except now I have to go read it in 7.8 and ugggh).
