Checked mine out from the library this week and have it for a month
I’ve flipped through it a tiny bit, but since I still need to finish last week’s section () I haven’t dug in yet.

That’s super lucky! Did I miss something and you live in Japan or does your library in the US just have Japanese books? (<- somehow that would make me even more jealous than the first answer)

No, I’m in Canada actually (but I am American, so you did have that part right). It’s from the Japanese community center that I take lessons at. They have a tiny library that’s available to the public with a decent manga selection. It makes me want to get into one of the long series like Dragonball or Bleach or One Piece that I’d never buy but I’d be happy borrowing a few books at a time.

When I lived in San Francisco, however, they did have a decent manga selection, especially in the library branch that is near Japantown. You could obviously just request books to your local branch too. They also had so much anime on DVD.. man I miss the SF library :smiling_face_with_tear:

いいなぁぁ
We never have anything in Denmark (or I’m bad at finding it). Seems like Paris has a lot of great options, I will regret forever that I hadn’t started on learning Japanese while I was living there

Read the first 50 pages or so (it seems like a lot but really it’s mainly drawings with a bit of text).
What I enjoyed most so far was the full pages for the characters, I feel like I didn’t know the full names of many of them.
Here’s ヤス for example
