More level

Very interesting, thank you for the feedback. I have basically zero experience with using Japanese “IRL”, I didn’t realize it would matter more in person but in hindsight it makes sense of course.

As for renshuu’s marketing I think I was mostly remembering the example for “gamified learning” on their homepage: https://www.renshuu.org/

It’s a counter drilling minigame.

No problem! It’s good to be reminded too that not everyone’s goals are the same and what’s useful for some is not for others. edit: as in counters aren’t very useful for people mainly here for reading manga/books

Ah, renshuu’s links are so broken. That just takes me to my homepage. That’s the biggest problem with the website XD

Renshuu leans hard into the gamification but practically every aspect can help you learn more. Hell, you can even make the garden motivator display in Japanese for extra vocab.

and here are some of the coin quests

You can filter them to only show ones that matter to you. Like I’m planning on turning off counter punch after 20 more games because that’s the last tier of permanent coin quests I’d like to get.

I’ll have to give it a try eventually, I intend to slow down with WK once I hit level 40 so I’ll have more time to study with other support.

One of the best things is that you can jump in at any level for grammar/vocab/kanji/sentence srs-ing, no need to practice これ・それ・あれ

But then how will you ever remember what これ means? Seems like a recipe for disaster.
