Thank you so much everyone for your kind words and support - I did it! I cleared the backlog!! I’m going to do my best to keep up with things!!! ![]()
That’s awesome! Today, you are the boulder:

I haven’t gotten back into handwriting Kanji lately, but I will get back to it!
Hopefully I can reach level 19 soon, I’ve finally unlocked all the level 18 Kanji.
達人 means Master! I never knew the meaning even though I play a lot of 太鼓の達人 ![]()
I wonder when I’ll learn the 鼓 kanji…
Ooh!! ![]()
“King of the World” の 感じねぇ
I reached Level 20!!! ![]()
In Level 20 there are these three Kanji that to me look alike (Yeah when you put them next to each other maybe they don’t haha)
I don’t have anything special to remember the first two, but the last one, 軽, I thought the right hand sign looks like an hourglass and that’s helpful for remembering the meaning ![]()
I reached level 21!! ![]()
I’ve been trying to write Kanji handwriting, but it doesn’t look as good as it use to… ok maybe it wasn’t all the pen ![]()
fall down 7 times stand up 8…?
1600+ items to review that’s kinda scary tho hahaha… Just gotta do my best x_x
SUCCESS I CLEARED THE BACKLOG!! ![]()
Omeowdetou gozaimeowsu! ![]()
ArigatoNYA! (where to put the meow… …! Domeow arigatou gozaimeowsu!
)
New pen makes a big difference ![]()
After a while, the pen loses it’s hardness and the tip gets blunt, maing it harder to write nice characters (especially ones with lots of small strokes). If only this coincided with when the pen runs out of ink… Maybe if I had better pressure control I could still do it ![]()
Today I treated an obaachan to breakfast and she gave me a bag of candy! ![]()
It’s super impressive how your kanji are aways so neat!
Mine never want to stay uniform
Thank you so much!
Tbh my standard hardwriting looks quite a bit more messy ![]()
I deliberately take my time with these, and I look at an example while writing to try and get the form and stroke order right.

At some point without me realising it, my WaniKani account hit a decade old. ![]()
