Just discovered that my Amazon subscription includes one audiobook per month. The selection from the U.S. store isn’t as big as the Japanese store, but it still has the 不思議駄菓子屋 and 天国の犬 series. I’m starting with the 天国の犬 series since they’re a bit easier. So today I listened to the first chapter, which was about 11 minutes.

I… ehem.. acquired… the japanese HP audiobook because I wanted something a little more difficult than the kiddie audiobooks but don’t think I can follow a new book at a higher level yet. So far it’s going really well, obviously there are more unknown words than the kiddie audiobooks but I’m having no trouble following the story.
