I got behind again
New youtube obsession to the rescue!
Small recap of the weekend: went camping in the lakes around Mt. Fuji, my listening intakes were watching a guy “interviewing Japanese people until [he] gets fluent in Japanese” (forgot the account’s name…), and a long conversation I had with the owner of a patisserie. She was really kind and used vocabulary and grammar that I could understand.
The patisserie had a great crème brûlée that made the French guy in me feel like:

I have yet to determine what I am going to watch today. I feel like I lose too much time watching nonsense on YouTube… maybe I should start watching nonsense in Japanese!

S4 進撃の巨人 final episode
Finally finished our nightly marathon of 進撃の巨人 & had a beer to celebrate. While I’d seen most of the series before I hadn’t seen the last “chapters”. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading the manga one day!
First post here, so hopefully I’m doing this right. I think I’ve been pretty consistent about listening to a few minutes of Japanese every day, but I like the idea of using this calendar format to make sure that I’m actually doing it.
I love listening to podcasts from OkkeiJapanese on YouTube and usually before bed I listen to a random kid’s book from the PIBO app.
My goal is to really crank up the comprehension by the end of the challenge.

Hey everyone!
Last few days, my listening intake was mainly asking my colleagues to speak to me in Japanese when they are saying “easy” things ![]()
I don’t post every day, but I still look at what you guys do. I actually listen to some of the podcasts you share, @Lisaveeta. I also gave some of your Mandarin videos a try @polv, but it’s been too long since I last practised and I don’t understand a lot.
Have a nice day ![]()
