Going to be 57, and just hit level 9 in WaniKani. Returning to Japanese (and Japan) after eleven years away from it. Back when I was a young language learner, all we had was our Nelson’s KanEiJiten. WaniKani (et al) is a big improvement . . . but I still hold on to my Nelson’s for old time’s sake, and in case there’s a power outage.
