I have not been around here a lot, I hope be around more in the community more now that I am almost done with my lessons. You guys are awesome, it is really motivating! level 17 completed in 7 days 7 hours. i felt like i had to work for this one, and i’m glad that from now on levels won’t have quite as many items. still, there is satisfaction in keeping up this 7-day-something streak, i did not expect to be able to do this when i began…
reading has been going well, i’ve been seing a lot of kanji which i’ve just learned in my reading, and many i’ve just read in my lessons, that’s a very good feeling both ways. and i feel like my listening comprehension has also increased markedly.
and i’ve finally started putting a bit more work into grammar again. N5 and N4 stuff, much is stuff which i’ve gotten used to seeing in reading and kind of figured out, but hadn’t actually looked up. it’s working well for me, i learn very well when getting more formal definitions for things i’ve already been puzzling over.
i guess i’m using this thread as a bit of a study log, it feels good to reflect back on the levels as i level up. i hope this is okay for you all?

Ah, if Shinobu Sagi is Saidaさんの boyfriend (or maybe fiancé) then I do believe I saw him also and for the second time.
Haha, technically yes! It is Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The character’s real name is Oroku Saki.
I think this is a fan art, but there is a comic where Shredder dies and has to battle his way out of hell. He has to fight the evil part of his own self, who turns into a dragon at some point. So it could be homage to that.
Now when I’d ever will be asked to describe my perfect day with a briefest picture possible, I will show my today’s lesson performance:

Well… What a relief.
I am so burnt out, I have no motivation left, but I have made it to the top.
The last 10 levels were so demanding, this was a bit too much, especially since I am quite slow and have a low accuracy. I haven’t skipped a day, but from now on (I have some vocab to catch up) I’m not going to go to sleep with zero review left each night.
I have many different stats to share, but I want to take the time to code more of them first (I have ideas, I love stats), and maybe create a lvl60 post in a few days (or weeks).

I wonder if it is the right move, but I understand the need! Share your experience on your 60 post, I assume i won’t be alone to be interested.
I think that if you don’t do it every day, you could end up with hundreds of reviews and be overwhelmed. And I am pretty sure this is one of the reasons people give up.
Having motivation is not enough, you have to be consistent, it’s almost the only way to see the end
W00t, level 40 done! Paradise at last! I have my iPhone set to Japanese and I can now read mostly all of it. It’s a pretty good feeling.

…also, that moment about a year ago, where you switch from under 200 to over 200 reviews a day, that looks scary
