Whoo level 11! I’m going to have to take a break though. I’ve started falling behind in my Genki studies, which isn’t great. My first step outside of the pleasant levels, though… how exciting!
old lessons first, 20 lessons a day ^^ will take a month or so, but that backlog will come to bite you otherwise…
it may seem like a huge pile of lessons, but the main difference is that they’re all in a pile, instead of being presented bit by bit. and you’ve come far already, so you can do this too!
thank you!!! yes, I do try to keep it at 15-20ish lessons per day, although some days I take breaks because I’m usually too tired from work and also because, it’s just too many vocabulary items to remember sometimes…
Hopefully I can reduce them a bit by next month!
I made it to level six <3 !
I spent 18 days on level 5, more than double any of my other levels, so this time I’m testing out the reorder script to do the level 6 radicals right away. But I’m not going to touch the level 6 kanji until all the level 5 vocab is complete! I’d like to have slightly faster levels to make it to one of the observation towers by the end, at least.

! I guru’d all my radicals and I haven’t done any vocab! I’ve been having trouble falling asleep lately so I’ve been taking naps and because of my workload I haven’t been able to focus on lessons like I want to. I really don’t like relying on caffeine to stay awake, but I might have to resort to instant coffee after school to get through homework and do the vocab lessons I got upon level-up.
i am very cautious about my caffeine intake, because it messes with my sleep, and that’s a problem. when i’m very tired, i generally accept that i will have a higher failure rate on reviews. i’ll also sometimes leave some of my evening reviews for the next morning.
but when i’m very tired and have to get through the day i do allow myself a shot of espresso, as it does help ^^

No worries. I did no lessons for one week. It was tempting to stay like that 
But one can’t stay in dreams forever, so like Tanjiro I stepped put of my dreams and started doing lessons since 2 days
So far it is going well.

I am moving at my own pace making friends with as many people as I can along the way
I surely hope not

My grammar studies have been close to zero. Bunpro doesn’t seem to be working for me. So, I probably need to try a different route.
I have been watching a few grammar videos but nothing concrete/planned yet?. Any suggestions from anyone?
Hit level 12 last night and went from 0 lessons at 6pm to 99 lessons by 9 pm.
Today marks the first items studied that made it into master level! 
They’re just the radicals, but it’s a big step. I didn’t even get to this point before I did my reset, so I’m happy for this progress. I wish I could say I now have energy to keep doing reviews, but there are no reviews to be done. I guess I’ll just channel that energy somewhere else. …Like KaniWani. 
Edit: So much for that. That took, like, five minutes, and I don’t have another review until later tonight, with one vocab. Still so much energy… @.@
Working on getting through my vocab lessons. Just did 10, have 57 more to go. I’m doing 10 an hour. I’ll unlock more vocab later because I’ll have kanji going to guru, so my total kanji guru’d for the level count will be 28 if I guru all of them, which is almost how much I need to guru to level up. Because of this, I’m hoping that I’ll get a majority of my vocab unlocked + in apprentice by tomorrow.
