Usually because the kanji based of the radicals of one level made more than 10% of the kanji total, levels take 7 to 8 days to complete if you don’t make too many mistakes, but now from level 46 onwards there are very few radicals and you can get levels done in 3 to 4 days if you get all your kanji right, the only exception being level 48.
Of course the thing about being efficient is that now you get more than 100 lessons a piece.
