I have created a customizable SRS webapp for learning Japanese called Kaitenji.
It is a great supplement to those using Wanikani and has many great features.
Users are able to adjust the SRS time intervals to whatever they would like.
As you progress in Wanikani, you can utilize our full Japanse dictionary to learn words that are not in Wanikani.
Kaitenji also has the ability for users to upload your own material. So if you can’t find exactly what you are looking for, you can create a deck with whatever you want inside.
Features of Kaitenji
Adjustable SRS time intervals.

I have just downloaded Keitenji, but… I’m totally and completely lost to no end. Would you please guide me as to how to use it. How can I use the grammar features as well as vocabulary and kanji and all?
To choose vocabulary/kanji/grammar that you want to learn, you will go to dictionary in the sidebar. If you want to learn JLPT 5 kanji, you will select kanji in first upper right filter and then choose JLPT 5 in filter next to it. Then you will click the box in the upper left hand corner of the boxes to select which kanji you want to learn. From there you will click on the purple action button and click study.
The study button brings you here where you will review the information of any item you check marked. After you have reviewed all the info, you will click quiz.
Complete the quiz by answering all of questions about the kanji you have chosen. The quiz works similar to Wanikani where you can type in your answers. You can also skip typing and just click show answers. Then you are able to click correct or incorrect.
For grammar, change the filter in the top right to grammar. Then find a grammar point you want to learn and click on more info in the bottom left of a box.
Clicking more info will bring you to the grammar’s information page. At the bottom you will see two example sentences where you are able to add the full sentence or jumbled sentence to SRS. If adding the full sentence, you will be shown the complete sentence during a quiz/review and be asked what the sentence means in English.
Firstly, I’d like to express my gratitude for such a valuable asset as your website. It’s clearly made with love, not only to the language but to the users as well. In addition, I’d like to thank you for the highly comprehensive, clarifying answer. Your dedication to highly appreciated.
My question now is: is there HOPEFULLY an option to select the entire set instead of ticking each box? This is really inefficient time-wise.
I’m terribly sorry for the inconvenience!
Thank you for your kind words! Are you looking for a button that lets you select the first 5/10/15/20 items all at once? Having a select all would cause problems since there are 100’s/1000’s of results based on what you search/filter.
No worries. You gave me a good idea for to make things easier for people. Good luck on your studies and let me know if you ever have any more questions or need help.
Jokes aside now, please, Consider me as a loyal follower of yours and your work. Thank you for the hard work and dedication! Keep it all up! You will have endless followers in no time… I’m sure of it. I wish you all the best!
