Japanese in one year?! - Not your usual study log

Welcome back!

A lot has happened in the last week, and even though you probably already know what I’m talking about, I’ll still tell it here :slight_smile:

First of all, right after I had finished N4 grammar, I immediately jumped into reading, and it seems like I’m not doing too bad (at least I hope so haha), but there are still a lot of point where I gotta improve.

So far, reading Japanese is really fun :blush: I already though about a weekly routine, and I also joined the read every day challenge, so yeah, I’m already 100% into reading lol :laughing: Anyway, my plan was to do 2 NHK “Easy” articles every week and at least two chapters of a story on @drdru’s website on every other day. I’ll probably adjust this later on, when I’m better and faster, but for now, this is what I plan to do.

I’ve also started hearing a lot more words in the songs that I listen to. I’ll probably try to start some listening practice in the next week, too, and see how it goes, but I doubt that I will understand a lot :laughing:

Ah, yes, then I also started to enlighten items! It’s not a lot more difficult than before to keep up with my reviews, but it’s still great to watch the number of my enlightened items grow!

Also, one thing that I’ve noticed is that it’s always Wednesday and Saturday where I have the most reviews to do, which also happen to be the days where I guru the radicals/kanji of the current level.

Today, my free trial on Bunpro expires. I won’t instantly renew it (since I won’t do N3 grammar right away), but first, I really wanna practice N5 and N4 (through reading and perhaps writing) before I move on to the next level.
