omg thank you so much. really cool!
What do you mean with “this”?
Do you mean Migaku? I bought the Lifetime Abo Yesterday.
Just to consider - Migaku has an excellent grammar deck too. I have used Bunpro for around 2 years but in hindsight I’m still not sure if SRS-ing grammar was the best way to learn it. Many things only really clicked when I started reading. Renshuu is free and also has fantastic grammar explanations, but so far only for N5, N4 and partly N3.
not entirely correct
renshuu has many grammar lists beyond N3 lists go beyond these two screen shots… but as a example
That’s the Grammar Library, but I meant the grammar lessons (menu Resources → Japanese lessons). Those only have N5, N4 and a part of N3.
those are more the recorded lessons but yes those only go up through partial N3.
the ones im referencing as one example in N1 have written explanations there (for each item)
it’s not bunpro but there are examples
in any case it’s not migaku anyways ![]()
Wanikani is great. If you are looking for more accurate Japanese subtitle analyis on YouTube vidoes, I made this free tool: https://seikai.tv
Just a heads-up, since a while Migaku now also has an integrated player, which works both in the browser and in the app. You can load any type of anime or movie, load subs or let them auto-generate and then use Migaku with it. Being not just restricted to Youtube, Netflix etc is really awesome.
Wow.
Is this like I don’t need a browser extension anymore and I can just copy paste a video link to mikagu.com directly and get the same features? Did I understand this correctly ?
Does it also work in iOS (like Safari on the iPhone) ?
If so that’s a game changer. I’ll be subscribing again just to check if the UI/UX of this functionality
Sorry for the late reply, haven’t visited the forum in a while. No for the player you need to download a video, anime for example, and Migaku will play it and you can use all the Migaku features. It’s how I use Migaku now - downloaded a bunch of anime, put them on my phone and use Migaku with it.
They also implemented a reader, where you can read any document and a browser option - visit a site and use Migaku with it. It works with iOS, even better than Android since they develop for iOS first, later add those options to the Android version.
