Interesting Message

This evening when I went to WaniKani to see if I had any reviews to do, there was a little message at the top of the screen that said “Quite the explorer, aren’t you?”. Does anyone know what that’s about?

It’s what happens when you try to visit the page of a Radical, Kanji, or Vocab item that is higher in level than the current level you have reached in WaniKani and have not yet paid for a membership to access them I believe.

It happens when you access content above level 3 if you are not subscribed, or visit pages that totally don’t exist like WaniKani, a kanji learning application by Tofugu (that kanji is not covered in WK).

I think it also happens if you visit too many pages in a short period.
