I’m getting this on my laptop. Had to zoom out to 67% to get the correct display.
@Samraku @Redglare @prouleau Thanks for the feedback i added some adjustments it should be working on smaller screens let me know if you find more bugs
So for that my idea for example is if you’re looking to learn lets say Japanese but you also speak Korean you specify the language that is used
its basically muti language choice
added Italian and manga
and when you click on submit a resource you should see a section that let you edit resources that haven’t been approved
Thanks! seems to have fixed it (for my screen size)
Cool idea but I’m curious about quality control. If I filter to Japanese Courses, I only see one (MaruMori). Now maybe it depends on how you define “course” but to me it is a progressive and planned curriculum that aims to be complete up to its advertised level. I would expect Rosetta Stone, which I do see is listed in the site, to also have a Course tag.
Not that I particularly like that resource or anything, but if that one isn’t tagged as a course, how do I know that other courses were tagged correctly?
Also JLPT N2-N1? The last unit teaches about the possessive の. It’s at most N4.
And irk all the Canadians And the remaining 64 countries where English is the official national language.
Yeah there are some early resources i added at the beginning so some tags aren’t the most accurate
Rosetta stone isn’t something i would recommend but it still a “course” if someone wants to use it well they are free to do so
Yeah, it’s fine if someone wants to use it. But the tags are wildly misleading.
And this one too:
Though for these multilanguage ones, sometimes one language will be at a high level while others are lower. Duolingo Spanish is around C1 if I recall, but Duolingo Japanese is around A2 (JLPT N5/N4). Are these listed separately per language.
I don’t think anyone should use duolingo xd yeah some tags aren’t accurate for some apps due to their different levels i can’t really manage that for each apps. If i had to do that would be a lot of duplications
You can leave a review and downvote it
I get that haha, which is a great feature! I meant specifically that I think the tag ‘african’ is not a good one to have there, since african is not a language
fair point initially i was going to categories languages based on the region but i think its not practical
Gosh, it must be ruff being the dog-paw-gängee instead of the doppelgänger!
@aymenbuild Hello! I put a comment on a resource about my views on it. I saw that as my username, it showed my email. Now, I personally do not want that to be public, so I went to my account settings to change that, but I cannot seem to be able to?
I tap on the textbox (IF it is a textbox), but nothing happens. Is it something that users cannot do yet?
Hello thanks for letting me know this has been fixed
Other users should’t see each other emails anymore
Yeah users can’t change the email for now but i plan on reworking that part so you should be able soon
Great, thank you! That was fast
