How to deal with Kenichi's pronounciation sounding so off compared to Kyoko's?

For example: かき氷 (かきごおり)

Kyoko is pretty close to what I would have thought of how to pronounce it.

But Kenichi’s ご doesen’t sound like “go” at all. It sounds more like a “mo”.

And he does stuff like that a lot, so I don’t think it’s a mistake in that example.

But since both of them are supposed to be Tokyo accent, how can they “disagree” so often on the pronounciation of the same words?

Edit: After posting this I got recommended an older thread with similar question.
Answer was basically: Kenichi’s style of pronouncing “g” is an old and slowly dying way of doing it. So I guess I can just ignore it and go with Kyoko’s pronounciation.
