At full speed, it takes just less than one year (not sure if it’s still 344 days). Someone made a guide regarding using WaniKani well, or even be fast if you feel like it.
Personally, I think even if you want to be fast, aim for like 1.5-2 years, rather than max speed. (But possibly drop to 3 years or something during the journey.)
