Holy moley, this was a thousand times more easy to install and setup and use than the Win10 JP IME… AAAAANNNNDDDDD since my other computer is a chromebook, it automatically just WORKS ON THAT ALSO…

It technically doesn’t work on office (though I mostly use 365 through Chrome anyways, so it does)

Yep, didn’t know I could do that. I’ve set it up on windows now.

If you press Alt + ~, you can quickly switch between English and Japanese.

the Windows IME only supports UN/Japanese keyboards so e.g. people from germany will accidentaly switch up ya and za

Actually, no. As a Bunpro subscriber I never gave that functionality a thought when I started WK. It was more that I didn’t like that I couldn’t do everything (study, review, look up stuff on jisho, post to the forums, do searches) in one place (desktop) without a hellacious amount of cut & paste workarounds. I’ll edit my answer above to be clearer.
