Hanzi scripts?

Are there any current userscripts showing the equivalent hanzi and pinyin (or the character origin)? Specifically for people who have Chinese knowledge or are learning Chinese, to help spot similarities and differences and avoid confusing the languages (or just for more information). If not, any API I could use to make my own?

I use the Wiktionary when I want to check that out, it’s very complete but unfortunately there’s nothing you can easily automate to stuff in a userscript.

Item Info Injector to inject hyperlinks to reference websites should be simple to make.

You might also use Kanjidic in the script. JSON from jmdict-simplified should be simple to parse and put in the script.

You might use Yomitan Wiktionary dictionary file, or just Wry dump, but I don’t think it would be as ready-made for Pinyin reading as Kanjidic JSON.

Truthfully, equivalent Hanzi could be a little more complex to find sometimes, as they are not necessarily on the same unicode points, but Wiktionary should have that covered.

Best thing I can suggest, although I’m sure there are other options is the Kanji Outlier Dictionary.
Here’s a couple links:

I haven’t checked them out throughly but I did get the Outlier essentials add-on for the app: Kanji Study (Chase Colburn) which I think was $20. The expert add-on is another $30, which I’ll pick up when I’m a little further into studying as the info I think is from the essentials is awesome. I highly recommend this app btw. You can choose the structure of the order of the Kanji, which I think is originally by the KLC order, but I swapped it to the JLPT order. (No Wani-Kani order) And there are other options. There’s also an add-on for the KLC readings, but I didn’t know much about it and the order doesn’t follow JLPT, so more useful after learning some Kanji.

Anyway, the Outlier Dictionary gives the info I think you want, as it shows the progression from the Chinese scripts to the modern including sound loans etc.
