Genki Kanji by WK Level

I remembered a thread where someone posted all the Genki Kanji by WK level.

Turns out it was posted back in 2013: https://community.wanikani.com/t/genkis-kanji-in-wanikani/4095

Has anyone done this more recently?
I’m pretty sure it would be mostly the same, but there could be variations due to updates to both WK and Genki.

Cheers!

Well I did it in 2018, which is certainly more recent, but I guess you want more more recent. :stuck_out_tongue:

Though, all I really need to do is update the WaniKani kanji on the lookup sheet. Unless Genki’s added more kanji too.

Ah! I should have known you would have done it

Yeah that’s probably close enough, but if you want to update it I certainly wouldn’t complain. :grinning:

This seems like it should be an up to date list of the Genki Kanji:

Well, I guess I’ll see about updating it as soon as I get the chance.

The QuickTime plug-in still exists?

LOL, that’s news to me…

Hopefully the list is more up to date than what it’s connected to!

That Genki list is exactly the same as the list I used in the first place, but I’ve updated the WaniKani kanji list. Since WaniKani already taught all of the Genki kanji (and all of the Tobira kanji, for that matter), the only difference is that you learn slightly different percentages at each level, but any given level is different by at most two kanji.

It was something I was looking for! being at lesson 6 in Genki 1, there are already a tons of kanjis I’ve not seen in WK yet and I was wondering when they would pop up! :innocent:
Will help a lot!
