About basis of Japanesey font differences, it may be convenient by start searching with 許容字体(きょようじたい) 一覧(いちらん) or 異体字(いたいじ) 一覧(いちらん)

許容字体(きょようじたい) should be easier to get started with.

I will list the ones that worth mentioning (in my opinion).

I saw these a while ago, but I can’t find in a list.

Some are easy, if you know the basics.

  • 「ネ」が「示」の型。
    • 榊 榊
    • 祓 祓-itaiji
  • 卿 卿
  • 嘘 嘘

Different encodings (no need to change fonts, e.g. 嚙む)

Some (unlisted) have zero (0) vocabulary result in Jisho, but then, you will probably lookup the Kanji, anyway…
