Okay, finally time for that post I kept promising! I recently several weeks ago now got a package in with a bunch of F&B extra materials; I wanted to post pictures here to both brag and educate. I’ve gone down a bit of a rabbit hole trying to understand how all of the bonus/extra stories are disseminated, so I thought it’d be useful to also catalogue what I know here for any future persons also looking for this information. First up, pics:
Pics and brief explanations

First up is the first three volumes of the series, presented in front and side view. They’re A6 size, and I’ll be using volume 1 as size comparison for the books/pamphlets in later photos.
These are two shikishi I tossed in while I was shopping around. I’ve got a fondness for the things, I don’t know why. There are a variety of shikishi floating around; I’ll have to post pictures of any more I pick up. They appear to be released annually as part of the publisher’s “Chara birthday fair” event.
The 10th anniversary character artbook; second pick with size comparison.
A variety of bonus booklets that came with special edition releases of (mostly) later volumes of F&B. The volumes they go with, going from top to bottom, left to right: 12 (not actually sure about this one, could be related to a different publisher distribution), 21,22, gaiden 2 (the green one sitting awkwardly in the middle of the two rows), (yellow, top right- this is actually part of a different distribution line. See chara birthday fair premium sheets table), 12, 23, 24, (pink, bottom right- another premium sheet).
(It occurs to me I could have ordered these better.)
This is some kind of promotional booklet with a new story given out by the book’s publisher, 徳間書店 (F&B was published under their キャラ文庫 imprint.) キャラ文庫創刊15周年記念 is printed at the bottom of the cover, so perhaps it was made in celebration of the publisher’s 15th anniversary?
More promotional booklets; the imprint, キャラ文庫, appears to create these yearly as part of their “Chara Birthday Fair” series; each booklet contains three stories, and several booklets are published for a year. All of the ones besides the second-from-the-left green one on the top row contain a F&B short. (Series the booklets contain a story for are shown on the covers of the booklets.)
Now, I’m not entirely sure the circumstances behind the publishing of these Chara Collection EXTRAs by the publisher. What I can tell you is they contain a multitude of stories from different series from the publisher’s catalogue, both manga and novels; they’re labeled as “chara label anthology”. These both contain a unique F&B story.
Finally, the (text-only) doujinshi (no size comparison, forgot). The circle responsible for these is Sabrosa (サブローサ), who I’m fairly sure is 松岡なつき herself, given that: 1) her name is printed in huge letters on the back cover of each of these, 2) her name is credited alongside Sabrosa’s within the books, 3) a gmail with her name is given in the backs of some of these. Granted, this isn’t proof positive that it was 松岡先生 who wrote these, but it’s not unusual for authors to moonlight as doujinshi creators. If anyone has any evidence for/against, let me know!
Now, for the part I know some will be waiting for: the juicy interior details. I’ve catalogued what stories are in which bonus (+ additional info), and will be leaving space for the stuff I know exists but I don’t own or can’t verify yet.
(A fun future goal would be to note when in the books’ timelines these bonus stories take place.)
