I reset in December from level 22ish after having abandoned WK for 3 years. Now I am back. But my speed is going to be significantly slower from here on. I am aiming at 10 new items a day now, so this is gonna take a while. I’ve learned the hard way that I am not able to keep up with my reviews if I go full speed as I used to.
Similar boat as you (except for the N5/N4- congrats on passing N5) - started WK a long time ago and then took nearly 6yrs off. Reset in October last year - Good luck!
I’m working with this anki deck - I do about 10 cards a day, which seems super slow, lol. But taking everything slow this time around.
finally someone with a similar level up chart as me
kind of floating on level 54 for over 260 days… no idea where all those days went
…right? People referring to 50s as “fast levels” feels like more salt to the wound
Whenever I see a high-level user’s level-up chart, I always check to see if they did the fast levels.
“Huh… interesting” is my reaction either way.
Keep in mind that it’s very likely all of us low-levels are closely examining whether you did the fast levels.
I thought I was going extremely slow, but some of these stats posted here surprise me
I do my reviews every day, though maybe not always all of them. I’ve just been lazy with lessons. Also, I reset to level 0 the day before my first streak
Recently, I’ve been feeling a lot more motivated, so I’ve been doing way more reviews and lessons, hence why all of this month’s ones are dark blue
Starting a new post for the painful levels (though I don’t really have the enthusiasm to edit out the first 10 levels).
Previous Levels
Thank you! though it can be better because I slowed down after reaching level 50.
Also I saw your progress post and I think you do better then me. If you are consistent with your progress I believe you’ll reach level 60 in less than 2 years. Keep up the good work!
I keep taking long breaks but I always come back. As you can see, my most recent break has been for ~a year, and I was afraid I’d have to reset again, but I managed to tackle the mountain of nearly 1000 reviews with fairly good accuracy and now I am back on track and should level up in a couple days
Finally hit level 21 so I figured I’d post here. Level 20 is now my first 6day+20hour level.
My first level is screwy because I only did my first lesson 34 days after signup (I think around Oct. 14th).
I lagged a bit around levels 8-10. And although you can’t see it, I had serious trouble with level 19 (I was sick and didn’t feel like studying, so I managed to fall behind on vocab for bit).
Thats great you managed to come back to it despite having a year off. Plus you managed to not reset again. Well done.
